Physiotherapy at Mallee Physio is all about helping you move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things you love. Whether you’re dealing with pain, a recent injury, or a long‑term condition, our physio team supports people across Swan Hill and Kerang with hands‑on treatment, personalised exercise programs, and clear guidance you can actually use day‑to‑day.
Our goal is simple: improve your movement, reduce your pain, and help you stay active and confident in your body
Conditions We Commonly Support
Arthritis & “Painful, Stiff Joints”
If your knees, hips, hands or other joints feel stiff, achy, swollen or “just not moving like they used to,” physiotherapy can help reduce pain and improve mobility. We support people with osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, and general age‑related joint changes.
Back Pain, Neck Pain & “Stiff neck”
Whether it’s a tight lower back, a pinchy neck, whiplash after a car accident, or pain that comes and goes, physio helps restore movement, calm irritated tissues, and build strength so your spine feels more stable and supported.
Pregnancy‑Related Aches & “Carrying‑Baby Pain”
Many people experience back, hip or pelvic discomfort during pregnancy. Physiotherapy offers safe, gentle strategies to ease pain, improve posture, and support your changing body.
Work‑Related Injuries & “Overuse Pain”
If your job involves repetitive tasks, lifting, or awkward positions, you might notice pain in your shoulders, elbows, wrists or hands. We treat repetitive strain injuries, tendon irritation, muscle tightness, and workplace‑related aches that build up over time.
Sports Injuries & “Pulled, Sprained or Sore” Muscles
From calf strains and hamstring tears to ankle sprains, tennis elbow, shin splints and general “I overdid it” pain, our physios help athletes of all ages recover and return to sport safely. We also support pre‑season conditioning and injury prevention.
Pre‑Surgery & Post‑Surgery Rehab (“Getting Ready” & “Getting Back”)
If you’re preparing for surgery like a knee replacement, hip replacement, ACL repair or ankle reconstruction we help strengthen your body beforehand so recovery is smoother. After surgery, we guide you through safe movement, swelling management, strength rebuilding and return‑to‑function rehab.
General Mobility Issues & “Feeling Weak or Unsteady”
If you’re noticing balance changes, reduced strength, or difficulty with everyday tasks, physiotherapy can help improve confidence, stability and independence.
